DESCRIPTION:Par le musée Quentovic \nMercredi 13 août à 10h – Départ de l’office de tourisme \nPrésentation illustrée du contexte (diaporama) et balade commentée du cimetière britannique. Entre 1915 et 1919\, l’Etat-Major britannique installe ses infrastructures à l’arrière du Front\, le long des côtes françaises. Un gigantesque camp militaire et hospitalier est installé à Etaples-sur-mer\, dont l’empreinte aujourd’hui reste uniquement visible par la présence du cimetière militaire\, le plus grand des forces du Commonwealth en France.
